2007 Ford F-250 Review

When you are looking at information on the Ranger and F-150 Ford pickup trucks, you hear quite a bit about style and accessories. When you turn to the F-250, you begin to hear about work. The F-250 Super Duty is a work horse of a truck. The talk is about big Payloads and Towing capacity.

This is not to say that the Super Duty truck does not offer interiors that resemble luxury cars or that the list of available options is in any way limited. It does point out the fact that if you are in the market for one of these powerhouses, you must likely have a job that needs to be done. The engines that are available reflect this fact. The 5.4 liter 3-valve Triton V8 that was the big boy of the F-150 is now the baby engine of the F-250. There is a further choice between a 6.8 liter 3-valve Triton V10 and a 6.0 liter Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel. Either one will allow you to pull just about anything you need to pull. The 5th Wheel towing capacity reaches 19,200 pounds with payload capacity of 5800 pounds. There is not only the power to pull your work equipment, but room to carry your work crew with both SuperCab and Crew Cab models in addition to the Regular Cab model.

Despite the emphasis on work load capability, the F-250 has a complete package of options that include leather trimmed bucket seats, and state of the art stereo systems. There is also the same wide variety of color and interior trim options that are found on the F-150. The choice of models includes the special King Ranch 4×4 with its distinctive western look. It comfortably seats five passengers in Castano Leather trimmed seats and sports a distinctive look with a two toned paint job featuring Arizona beige lower accents.

With a combination of Ford reliability and superior engineering, and its focus on being a tough working truck, the F-250 deserves serious consideration.
