Pick up trucks have been one of the highest selling vehicles in the world for as long as most care to remember. The truck was designed as a work vehicles for companies and such to use but the general public started to demand a model for them and the pick up truck craze was born. Since that time more pick up trucks have been sold in this country then any other kind of gas powered vehicle and Chevrolet has been on the forefront for many years when it comes to this craze. It is no secret that Chevrolet is one of the largest auto makers in the world. They are second only to Ford in some respects while they beat Ford out in others. Chevrolets success was so quick that Henry Ford himself sought to buy the company in the early days but could not raise the funds to make the purchase. Over the years there have been a lot of mergers that people are seemingly unaware of. There has been a matter where different car companies merge into one without anyone understanding that it happened. This was the case with GMC and the big money deals they made to acquire huge car companies like Chevrolet, Pontiac and Cadillac. With this merge there have been many vehicles put out by the companies that seem rather similar, but they are all as different as night and day when one looks at them with a trained eye. The latest version of Toyota Tacoma is a completely redesigned one. Its quirky and brawny aura is retained only that its dimensions are expanded to accommodate bigger loading capacity. At first glance, it can be ascertained that the Tacoma these days are bigger and also said to be better than its predecessors.
