Pick up trucks have been one of the highest selling vehicles in the world for as long as most care to remember. The truck was designed as a work vehicles for companies and such to use but the general public started to demand a model for them and the pick up truck craze was born. Since that time more pick up trucks have been sold in this country then any other kind of gas powered vehicle and Chevrolet has been on the forefront for many years when it comes to this craze. It is no secret that Chevrolet is one of the largest auto makers in the world. They are second only to Ford in some respects while they beat Ford out in others. Chevrolets success was so quick that Henry Ford himself sought to buy the company in the early days but could not raise the funds to make the purchase.
